POSITION DETAILS:
- Effectively managing various clinical and administrative responsibilities within an outpatient/walk-in setting.
- Collaborating with internal and external providers to meet Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder needs in the community.
- Crisis support/intervention, triage and caseload management.
- Ensuring timely services are being provided, closing charts, reporting to the state and making referrals to appropriate levels of care within the agency as well as external resources.
- Offering proactive and thoughtful recommendations for process and quality improvement.
- Setting an example in providing Client-conscious service to the SWFL community.
- Embodying the DLCenters' Charter by displaying integrity, exceptional compassion, collaborative partnership, creativity and resourcefulness.
- Advocating for Clients to focus on life-changing wellness through a strong and tested treatment model and educating Clients about resources in the community.
- Utilizing a modern Electronic Medical Records system to the fullest of its potential in remaining organized and compliant.
TO JOIN OUR ELITE IMMOKALEE TEAM:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Science or a related field = Required
- 1 years of relevant experience in community health, mental health, substance use disorders or similar = Required
- Spanish Bilingual = Strongly Preferred
- Ability to evaluate Client needs quickly and effectively both via telephone and in person = Required
- Ability to respect an environment where all members of a team are valued equally in reaching shared goals = Required
- Valid FL Driver's License = Required
- Skills in providing direct services and relating to a wide variety of Clients, co-workers and community agencies = Required
- Exceptional skills in organization (time and information) and communication (written and verbal) = Required
- The ability to combine empathy, energy and efficiency = Required
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office 365/Teams = Strongly Preferred
- Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required
- Ability to pass a Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = Required
